I’ve been fascinated by watching mushrooms fuse in our fruiting room. Here is an image of two Philiota mushrooms connecting into an awesome little antenna:
I’ve also had Lions mane mushrooms from two different bags join together to form a massive mushroom.
I wonder if this is just possible because they come from the same spawn or if different strains would be able to fuse too?
